The Greatest Treasure

Every single human being is in a quest, a quest to find the greatest treasure Love.

We all search it in different ways, through things, people,moments, memories, dreams,beliefs; but nothing ever totally fills us, no one ever loves us enough there's always something missing.

But what is love and why do we need it so much?

There are several reasons why we need it, some of them could be because we need to feel accepted, approved, cared for, we need to feel meaningful. In 1of Corinthians 13:1-3  the apostle Paul tells us that without love we have nothing, we are nothing, we gain nothing.

The Bible teaches us that love is the greatest of all virtues, that when we love truly we are able to follow and obey without question all the commandments  that's why Jesus said in Luke 10:27 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind;and Love your neighbor as yourself." 


 But to make that possible we have to love ourselves first, just like we are, just how He made us, and that is the most difficult part because to love ourselves  we would actually have to accept how we are and learn to appreciate every single thing of our being; and who are we not to love ourselves if He loves us, He gave his only son for us like 1of John 4:9-10 says, what greater proof of love can there be than to sacrifice what you love the most, can you imagine that love.

Only Gods perfect love can fill our hears, cast out every single one of our fears, and assure us in Him. 

Do you want to find true love? love God because He is love, He is the truest love of all, the purest, the most beautiful the only perfect love. And when you get to love Him you'll  experience the greatest feelings the best things Hes got to offer, and you will be able to truly love yourself and everyone around you.

Love, a four letter word that not a thousand words could describe.
